Welcome to Educational Leadership Development Net (ELDevNet).

Welcome to the Educational Leadership Development Net. This website serves as a home for a number of leader development programmes designed and run in Hong Kong. The programmes have been developed in close collaboration with practicing school leaders and reflect our commitment to continuous improvement and increased leader control of their own learning.

The programmes aim to support the learning and development of educational leaders in Hong Kong. Various programmes target both local and international schools and cut across levels of school leadership, including mid-level leaders, and aspiring, beginning and more experienced principals.

More specifically ELDevNet aims to:

• promote the development of a context specific understanding of the principalship and school leadership in Hong Kong local and international schools.
• actively involve principals in their own professional development and encourage them to take greater responsibility for their own learning.
• link Hong Kong school leaders with leaders and learning opportunities in other societies.
• share our ideas and programmes with educators in Hong Kong, China and the Asia Pacific Region.
